Catedral de La Almudena, Madrid
Materials: Verde Macael, Yellow Triana
Environments: Interiors
Description: This emblematic cathedral is located in the historic center of Madrid; its main facade is facing the Royal Palace and surrounded by the street of Bailén and cuesta de la Vega, at the end of Calle Mayor. Unlike most Christian temples, which are East/West-facing, the cathedral has a North-South orientation, fruit of its conception as an integral part of the Royal Palace.
